This is a Coulorful Fun rug that has been expertly crafted by Moroccan weavers.
Azilal rugs, mostly confused with Beni Ourain rugs. These vibrant single knotted colorful rugs were originally made in the High Atlas Mountains, Azilal Area. Originally 100% wool, but might contain cotton to add neon colors that can’t be achieved with vegetable dye.

Design: Zig Zag design & Dots one the sides.
Dimensions: 212 cm x 149 cm + Fringe (Sizes are approximate as handmade carpets can vary in sizes from centre to extremities)
Colors: Cream Background with two red & Blue Zig Zag Lines.
Material: 100% wool on cotton warp.
Fringe: One side. This is typical for Berber rugs as the tradition is to close one side and leave the other side open for the weaver's daughters to continue the story after her.
Pile: Medium to low.
Condition: New. Handmade in a traditional way using a traditional loom, so might have small imperfections.
Origin: Handmade by weavers in the High Atlas Mountains Morocco.
